I'm starting a list here; so we're experiencing occasional netsplits but I think the cause could be due to the relatively low ping timeout on the servers;

raise ping timeout on server links
remove stop repeating yourself kick on #superbowl (it doesn't matter if people are repeating themselves unless they're getting banned)
I made the mistake of setting 256 ping timeout instead of 128 on clients, this may or may not be worth revisiting
