tweak the layout a little;
...
- ios apparently does input field styling so disable that
- get firefox in line with others wrt scrollbar styling
- give the increase/decrease buttons on mobile some breathing space
- on desktop the input field can be 14px like most of the rest
- add 'Type here' hint so people know where to tap/click for input
